| Report: | Tonight's game was billed as the return of The Raging Bull but unfortunately his limp wrist is still not better. Jimmy made it worse over the weekend whilst simultaneously hurting his own knee. Well done lads!
Not all heroes wear capes. Some sell lawnmowers and it was Mowers online head honcho to the rescue! Steve played well and tried to Cut and Drop the St Mellon's no5 but Joe was like a stubborn patch of Japanese knotweed, impossible to remove! 1 nil down.
It's been a while since the Tax Lady made an appearance but when the chips are down and there's a budget looming, you know she's got your back. For the right price anyway! Bec could only stop talking long enough to play 4 games so Anna did the honourable thing and lost 3-1.
Time for the big man to make it 3 wins on the bounce... Ah well! You can't have everything. To be fair he was up against it tonight with Ashley who "hasn't played for a while" but clearly must have been Pro when he was a baby! Sean probed but Ashley had his number and read the Pembrokeshire powerhouse like a cheap paperback.
Chris has been punch drunk for the last couple of weeks, losing to old blokes and little kids so tonight was an opportunity to put things right. Aadil took a couple of blows in the 3rd round but other than that it was another straight forward win for St Mellon's who now found themselves 4 nil up!
With one last throw of the dice, MooToon called on their club champ Stacey, a self-confessed Man United fan, to salvage some pride. The team were hoping it would be a theatre of nightmares for Adam but the peptide pimp was pumped and took advantage of her Di Maria esq performance and made it a 5 setter, just losing the decider to the final boss of Cowbridge.
Only a certain calibre of captain can lead a team to mid table mediocrity after only 3 matches. And so, it's 'Job done' for Julio Geordio who is now off for some warm weather training. But not before he gets something from Adam for his low Nads.
