Report

Report:Julio Geordio was doing his best to lose the sometimes overused title of 'best captain ever' and was 4 days into his warm weather training camp. He was struggling to find the balance between training and filling his body with tapas and cerveza but somehow still managed to pull a team together.

Occupying the position of supersub was Dave M, stepping up from the C's to save the day make his mark in Division 1. Steff clearly hadn't read the script and gave him a bit of a seeing to in the first. Dave fought back but lost to a very decent Cardiff no5!

Si was back from up north and began what appeared to be an audition for the B team. He looked iffy against Smiffy and it was over in a jiffy. It might be grim up north but with zero points from the first 2 matches, the forecast in Cowbridge was looking decidedly dreary.

This week Chris, this week? Ah ok, next week then. Without even threatening the fourth column on the scorecard, the Ice man melted under the pressure and Ben's squash must have been too hot. Maybe his charity boxing match will last longer!

The final boss had finally found her squash mojo and was at the club super early and eager to get going. I don't know who Jack Eadie is but he must be good as he completed Cowbridge at the first time of asking! Did she enjoy it more than racketball though? Here's hoping.

Agent Hayvice was was minding his own business when the coded message came through. Like all good assassins, he'd been lying dormant for some time but had always been ready to strike at a moment's notice. His mission? Take out the Cardiff No1. When the intel reached the south coast of Andalucia, the message simply read: "Done. Swift and painless".

Thanks to Dave for stepping up and Dall for stepping in. A nice trip to Llantrisant next week. What could possibly go wrong?
