| Report: | 2 of the oldest clubs in South wales(no facts to back that up mind)going head to head this evening in a mouth watering tie in cowbridge. 1st up was Mr burgess taking on Tom Howells with Eminem coming out on top with a 3-0 victory getting moo- Bridge off to a flier. Meanwhile the retired Liam corrigan, sporting his new racket, shorts, shoes, socks and sweat bands was having a very close 3-0 victorious encounter with Ben pinfold.
2nd on with arguably the match of the night was dave Robertson and tailby with a 3-2 win for Robertson. Tailby had his chances but fluffed his lines in the 5th losing his early lead in the game. Last 2 matches were between dallas v dale and Joel v Jamie. Didn't see much of the that 3-2 win for Dale as I was having a pasting next door...Cardiff winning the last 2 ties. Cowbridge 3 Cardiff 2. One thing is for sure...cowbridge is fast becoming the social nucleus of the league with a laugh and good time had by all. Night x |
