| Report: | A strong performance from the Bridgend Bulldogs tonight who are still chasing that first ever promotion to Prem 1. Newport battled hard and every player gave it their best and there were some quality games throughout the night. The Howe boys got the Bulldogs off to a winning start with 3-0 wins, Tan Man and Dai "Dolphin" Thomas followed up with 3-0 victories of their own. That left Chris Lovett, fresh from car park wars, to take on Bridgend's decent number 1 Lloyd. This match did not disappoint with a 15 minute first game going to Lovett. With Lloyd all at sea over a missing lucozade between games (it was hidden by Lovett!) anything could have unfolded!! But, "Bad Jokes" Forkan went up the gears to take a 3-1 win and secure the maximum points that Bridgend had set out to get. Cracking balcony full of members supporting the bulldogs created a great atmosphere. Same again next week please!!!!! |
