Away Report: | ' Despite the lack of players, Bridgend gave it their best shot. Rob Howe continues to improve and after a 20+ year break from squash he is starting to rediscover some form. They said, Archie was clinical and too sharp once again. Big Dai played a lob and drop masterclass to frustrate young Aran. With a tough Merthyr crowd finally warming to the 18st gazelle’s deft touches the big lad closed out a 3-1 win.
Lewis v Lloyd saw some great attacking squash on show with Lloyd throwing everything but the kitchen sink at young Mr Poole. Lewis was in fine form showing a great blend of attack and defend, demonstrating why he’s one of the best players in the senior set up at the moment in Wales. Big thanks for a warm welcome as always and a cracking Chinese in the bar. ' |
